InMotion
Lost dataI know nothing about database and switching sites, I hired InMotion to do that for me. And they lost some files in the process. Nothing vital, but still it's not pleasant, isn't it? Besides it caused some minor problems at my site.
Good service and great forum
Besides the great hosting they offer, outstanding tech support and reasonable prices InMotion has a great online forum launched. I learned so much from the users. It's really helpful. Often the users are able to sort you out with a problem and fix it quicker than a support staff.
BlueHost
Nothing but goodI'm a client for more than a year already. And I have nothing but good to say about their service and hosting itself is great. The uptime is fine, the support helped me set up my email safe and quick. And the pricing is reasonable. I think I'll stay with BlueHost for some more years.
You get what you pay for.
I use BlueHost for several years because it's cheap. Well, you get what you pay for. The uptime isn't great at all. Besides, not a long time ago they upgraded the software on my server and forgot to inform me. As a result my PHP scripts stopped working....

Great Features and really cheap.I signed up because their offer was great and cheap and I haven't had any regrets since. My site is fast and hasn't been down ever since I've joined them. They are cheap and have great features. Best hosting company I've ever been with.
This is an awesome webhost.
I think it’s one of the best. The support is really great. I never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a reply. Issues are solved quickly. Staff is always friendly. I had a downtime just once. For about an hour. I think it's not that bad for such a cheap web hosting.

Seems good for nowI'm with this host for about a week and my first impressions are very good. I have not had any problems. Help desk is actually helpful. They called to verify my account. Customer support was friendly and knowledgeable from what I've seen. Also, my website loads faster than with many webhosts I had the occasion of working with. cPanel is comfortable and I see no major feature missing. So, good impressions so far.
HostMonster never failed me
I've been with HostMonster for 3 years already. and they never failed me. I can't complain on anything. The support is friendly and helpful, the staff is professional, service fast and uptime is just fine.

I can't reach the supportI signed up with Globat few months ago. I have 5 domains with them. Well, it was alright (cPanel is rather good, I have no problems using it, there were no major problems with uptime and server) until I faced a technical issue and had to get to the support team. It's been 5 emails, numerous calls and I still can't reach them. And the problem is still there. I think I have to change a web hosting company. What a trouble...
Globat is one of the best
I really think Globat is one of the better web hosting companies out there. Their automatic upgrade system is easy to opt out. I see no problem there. As for uptime, I'v never really noticed anything wrong. I personally never needed any support, so this is another area that I can tell nothing about. The sales department has always been helpful to me though. I just called and asked for a deal. that's it. Globat is good.

I like itI was a little skeptical about singing up with this hosting provider. However, it has proven to be quite stable, offers a lot of features. They also have excellent support team who has always managed to help me out with any problems that I have to admit were caused by my mistakes. Great service in comparison to the number of hosting providers I have dealt with.
It's a disappointment
And there I thought it would be a greatest hosting provider I could ever hope for. What a fool I am. Their Web Site Builder is easy to use and I have been using their services for my websites for several years, but I'm not happy with the pricing any more. And there's no customer service. It's simply nonexistent. I never heard back from them, not even once. And I'm with them for more than two years already.

Furthermore, the hosting plans include a fully-equipped Marketing Centre, a Web Site Creator, Shopping Carts, a Search Engine Submitter, a Keyword and Meta-Tag Generator, a Website Link Checker,CGI-BIN, MySQL, and Perl and PHP support. The uptime is good, I never had a major downtime in more than a year. Support is friendly and knowledgeable. The few occasions I had to deal with them were not a bad experience, they were actually very helpful and solved the problems in no time. The equipment they use is not bad either. Services are quick and reliable. There are quality firewalls and network security devices that ensure account and data safety. Great solutions, good pricing, great webhost for anyone.
Email issue
I have been on Dot5 Service for just a few months and I had this email problem from the very beginning. It seems they have a bug that if an email is over a certain size it will not properly handle it. They deleted one file for me and then told me I should delete the email boxes that have been facing the problem and re-create them. This is a huge pain when you consider you also have to re-import addresses and you'll loose everything in the mail box. They have been responsive to my problem but Tech Support disappointed me greatly, they do not know why that is happening to the mail boxes. Email is a large part of my need for a hosting service, and this problem forces me to look for another webhost. What a huge disappointment.
Lunarpages
Excellent supportIt is really the best support I've ever dealt with. Very friendly and competent. After horrible experience with my previous hosting company it's like a breath of fresh air. I'm signed in for Basic Hosting account at LunarPages. The great features with huge web space. It's a fantastic offer. I think other companies maybe offering a comparable web space, but their clients may lack the great support and peace of mind you get when you are hosted with really reliable hosting company.
The best support
I have to say the technical support team in Lunarpages is the best. I have a dedicated server hosting with them and their technical support team helped me more than once. They all are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Their forum is also great and helpful. Besides, I never had a down time, and price is reasonable. Really can't ask for more.
GoDaddy
Godaddy experienceI have been with godaddy for a few months now and I got to say it's been very good so far. My site has not been very demanding, so I can't say much about heavy traffic tolerance, but the uptime has been great. I have had some questions to be handled with the support and I have to say that it was a very pleasant experience. The support staff has been very polite and fast. On the negative side I would mention the complexity of registration and the cPanel. Still, considering the pros and cons, the product you get for the money is excellent. So I recommend Godaddy to everyone.
Very nice hosting
I've been with GoDaddy for more than 6 months without any problems. I haven't had a problem with downtime, like I used to have with other web hosting companies. The control panel is simple to navigate and organize everything, your domains, hosting plans, databases, etc. There's a good customer service, and good prices. So far it's been a very nice experience. I hope it'll remain this way.
PowWeb
Good value for moneyThe price for such amount of marvelous features is just awesome. I'm hosting an online picture gallery, the bandwidth satisfies me. And the uptime has been great so far. I definitely recommend PowWeb to anyone. The support is okay, though I didn't use it often.
Awful uptime
My site has been down for long periods of time and quite often. The tech support never answers my tickets. Considering price and bandwidth Powweb is great, but the uptime and support are not worth it. It used to be a good hosting provider once, but it seems like they do not care about quality of service any more. What a pity.
