InMotion
Bad supportI wanted to change my domain to InMotion, I asked a question before transfer and got no answer. It's been two weeks already... I think I won't work with them...
Bad choice
I wanted to sign up with them, sent 3 emails with minor questions, never got a feedback. They don't want my money. Well, I decided better go to those webhosts who reply to clients' emails without delay. (I think 3 weeks and 3 emails is way too long.)
BlueHost
Best hosting companyI've been using a number of companies through the years and I think BlueHost is the best of the web hosts I ever used. I'm a Sys Admin and I can say their tech support is really knowledgeable. DNS records, SSH access, FTP client setup and loads more in the package. I think it's great for the money.
I'm a complete newbie
I signed up to BlueHost because I liked the price. I'm a newbie when it comes to the web hosting, I know almost nothing at the matter. After two months of hosting here I can say I made a right choice. The support is great. I wouldn't be able to do without their help, the uptime is just fine and I really like the forum, it's helpful. So, no regrets here.

Reliable host with good supportWe did a research before signing up with WebHostingPad. It seemed like these guys have a good reputation within the hosting community for providing good quality services with reliable support. This was our main reason for choosing them. We do not have any complaints. It's been a very pleasant experience so far.
I'm totally satisfied
I have a new blog and chose webhostingpad to host it mainly because of the good reviews I read about them. I have been up and running for about a month now and have no regrets I chose them and no complaints at all. I used their support often during the first week and their responses were always fast and helpful. I would also say that any of the problems I had could have been caused by my lack of experience. I have not had any trouble since and am very happy with their services. I highly recommend webhostingpad.
Hostmonster
New to HostMonster but like it alreadyI've recently moved to Hostmonster from my old hosting provider. I'm pretty sure that they are the cheapest webhost out there. And the quality of service amazes. I haven't experienced any downtimes, well not yet anyway. And didn't have a chance to check the support team yet, hope I won't have to do that any time soon. So far very good impressions.
Good affordable hosting
I'd recommend Host Monster to anyone looking for an affordable hosting solution that is feature rich and reliable. Their hosting package is excellent. The best shared hosting in the industry to my mind.

Not good any moreI have been a Globat customer for many years. The thing is, I have not come across many technical problems until recent time. I have had several problems with email. My mail server was changed a few times, I contacted support many times. And it was terrible. I also had problems with an upgrade. I was interested in their pro build products for creating a website, I contacted support and asked few questions regarding the capabilities of the upgrade and was assured that it would meet my needs. Needless to say it never did. And of course I never got my money refunded.
Not a good way to lead business
I can't say much bad about the hosting service itself. The uptime is fine with me and server is rather fast as far as I see. But is it really a good way to lead business the way they do? Telling their customers they have # of days or they will be billed and their account upgraded with things they do not need at all. I really think it's not a good way...
Yahoo
They shut us downYahoo shut our community website and never told us why. It's really hard to get to them. We called several times and when we finally managed to get somebody there to talk to they refused to give us any information at all. We'v lost our database our web presence until we figure out how to solve the problem.
Is there any support at all?
They hardly ever responded to any of numerous emails I'v sent them. It took them days to solve a php mail problem. During that time, they did not respond to my inquiries. Their technical staff is not 24/7 at all. Perhaps on the surface they look like a great hosting provider, but once you start actually using their services you start seeing the lack of the technical expertise and support staff they have.
Dot5hosting
Worst experienceI have had the worst experience with this hosting company! First of all, it took weeks to get my website up though they promised it will take no more than 48 hours, then few months later I started having problems uploading to the server again. My website was down for about a week and a half. I canceled my account and a year later they billed me for another year. When I called them they said they would refund me, it's been 4 months already and I still haven't have a refund. The worst experience I ever had.
Cheap webhosting
Dot5hosting is a cheap web hosting provider and a good one for the price. The packages are full of all of the most needed features: install forms, scripts, software and tools a modern day website developer could possibly need. The basic web hosting package comes with unlimited web storage and bandwidth as well as the ability to host unlimited websites on one hosting account. The control panel is the vDeck system, I do not have to tell you how comfortable it is. Dot5 also offers free web design templates and web building software to help newbies create professional looking websites. One can get a complete website designed and published with just the use of a simple web browser. No FTP knowledge or other publishing software is necessary. I can't say a word about support as I never had an issue to be dealt with. I think you won't find a better webhost for the money.
Lunarpages
So far they are the best webhost I ever worked withI have just started hosting sites with lunarpages recently. A company's commitment to customers is truly tested only when one faces problems, or at least needs answers. I have been disappointed by different webhosts in the past, sometimes waiting weeks for a response to a ticket, never receiving a response sometimes, and sometimes receiving a response that wasn't even somehow related to the problem. I found Lunarpages after a serious research I performed to find at least a slightly better webhost I used to deal with. I transferred one of my websites to Lunarpages to try them out. I was surprised and delighted in what a painless and fast process it was. I then decided to buy a new domain name with them and the domain registration was just as much fast and painless. Besides, all my questions, both pre- and post-sales, have been answered very quickly and efficiently. A level of support is just by far the best I have ever experienced. On top of this, the cost of hosting is relatively cheap.
Excellent hosting company
I have been using every plan that is offered by Lunarpages. I currently have 6 sites all hosted on a variety of the different plans available. And I have to say I face very few problems with all of them. I have only good things to say about the staff. They all are extremely helpful and have always been there to assist me when I have needed it. The uptime is great. I can't hope for better service. Recommend Lunarpages to everyone who needs a good and cheap webhost with great uptime, fast and efficient support and amount of other great features.
GoDaddy
I had a serious research before signing up with GoDaddy. I ended up with this hosting provider's VPS. And I do not regret my choice. It was few years ago, now I have a dedicated hosting with them. I think Godaddy deserved it's reputation of one of the best hosting companies at the market. I'm just contented with the service. Never dreamt of better one.
GoDaddy is great
I'm with them for years already. Customer service is much better than at the most companies out there. For a shared hosting account, they have great features and service. I'm going to stay with my hosting provider for years and years to come.
PowWeb
Worst webhost everThere's been ups and downs, but recently it's too much downs to my mind. Though I like their control panel it is the slowest servers I have ever used. And tech support is not good at all. I've been complaining on the speed for 4 months already, no one seems to hear me. I asked to change my server several times, but they just ignore me. I do not think it is a good customer policy for such a big hosting company. It is not a professional approach.
Not good for business
It's impossible to run a business when your website is always down. And that's what it's like with PowWeb. It used to be a good webhosting company when we signed in 4 years ago. Now it is not any more. We face to much downtime recently, our email is constantly unavailable. It not a good way to lead a business.
